Podcamping This Weekend

Podcamp Boston 4 is this weekend!

Come to learn. Come to share.

See all the topics at http://www.podcampboston.org/schedule-2009/

I am part of a great session called "Boston 2.0"
On Saturday at 11:15 AM - 12 PM in Room 3-545

This conversation will have a few very relevant people that can (Big) Dig into this topic including OpenAirBoston, Boston World Partnerships, and assorted Boston fans and contrarians (like Todd Van Hoosear and Ben Ortega)!

Here is a little more to start the thinking:

What are the realistic options and next steps for Boston to take advantage of innovation and technology? Yes, city-wide wireless Internet access is a component, but what are the sustainability issues and who are the players to help make Boston the most connected, productive, and fun city in the world?

REMEMBER - The point is NOT to prepare with an agenda (or a pitch) but to have the conversation... ask questions ... get answers - kind of a no pressure gig, huh!?

In the spirit of sharing, Steve Garfied just sent this message around:

Hi David,

As we said in the meeting, Podcamp Boston 4 is this weekend. It costs $50 to attend.

If you are interested in going, you must pre register on the site as they will not be registering people at the door.

Here's some info from the site:

"If you're wondering what's next in social media, there's no better place to find out than at PodCamp, regardless of whether you're just getting started or you're a veteran practitioner. Unlike other conferences which are just talking head affairs, PodCamp gives you the opportunity to learn, share, and grow your skills at any level, helping your community as it helps you.
This year, we're aiming to answer the question of what's next - what's next for podcasting, blogging, social media, and the crazy 2.0 world we live in. We're featuring sessions specifically focused on your questions and the answers to them - provided not just by "experts" but by your peers and colleagues as we all learn, share, and grow our social media skills.
