DVD sales take off after they put up a free YouTube Monty Python channel. This is wonderful inspiration for (talented) artists to give some to get some.

Mashable reports a 23,000 percent increase in sales!

Consider how you can use similar promotional elements to encourage sharing - with consistent and easy Amazon access for inspired buyers. Check out your favorite skits (go ahead - sing/talk along!) and interesting commentary from the Pythons and their famous fans. All this seems to makes you want to buy as a donation just to honor their brilliance and influence.

The MPAA and RIAA should dive into promotional opportunities for their artist clients (since they don't have to waste time anymore prosecuting their ... stealers - umm, customers). Here is Freddie Laker's nice farewell post to DRM.
