There was a record turn-out today at the North Shore Technology Council's presentation on "Social Networking as a Business and For your Business." Lots of laughing and learning!
All the right buzzwords were thrown - participative marketing, transparency, customer conversation, powershift control of Media, frictionless efficiency of direct connections, empower communities, un-focused groups, data-mining for affinity insight, enabeling technology, Boo-Ya for Banking, ...
Here is a list of the illustrious Panelists - alphabetically and in order of attractiveness (name links are to LinkedIn Profiles):
Chris Brogan - ChrisBrogan.com
Mark Doerschlag - MarksGuide
Jim Dowd - HelpGuest
David Evans - The Progress Bar
As the moderator, and attractiveness, I go last:
David Cutler - Oasis Technology Partners

At the NSTC event on May 28, 2008 - David did a fantastic job as moderator. He kept his panelists on topic and got everyone enthused and excited. A great program. Thanks.
Thanks for the great event David! It was very energizing to listen to the panelists and yourself talk about the social networking world.
The opportunities to learn something new were there for both those that know about the social networking world, those who have no idea, and those in the middle.
This was one of most valuable NSTC meetings I can remember. David did a superior job assembling and facilitating the program. Even for people familiar with social networking venues, the education and suggestions were exceptionally helpful.
Ultimately, it inspired me to finally move forward with initiating my own blog for my boutique recruitment busienss. I look forward to having the NSTC host a follow-up session as I'm sure there could have been more ground to cover. Well done!
